Maybe, you are the kind of people whose advice is very poor, well, you have to start somewhere, so start boarding the buses and with time and experience you might be going places in life and have a following of people that you met on the buses. Some of these folks are so lonesome, one of them followed the reporter home and soon became her dinner guest. They move fast because they are determined to make a friend for the day.

JESUS IS OUR BEST FRIEND.

That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.

3 He was despised and forsaken of men.

A man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and like one from whom men hide their faces,

He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried;

Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. 

5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities;

the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. 

6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way;

But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.

7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth;

Like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers,

So He did not open His mouth.

8 By oppression and judgement He was taken away; and as for His generation, who considered.

That He was cut off out of the land of the living.

for the transgression of my people to whom the stroke was due? 

9 His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death,

Because He had done no violence, Not was there any deceit in His mouth.

10 But the Lord was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief;

If He would render Himself as a gult offering, He will see His offspring.

He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand.

11 As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will it and be satisfied;

By His knowledge the Righteous One,  My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities,

12 Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great. And He will divide the booty with the strong;

Because He poured out Himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors;

Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors.

 

Meditate on these scriptures and its nourishment for you to eat and ponder, Dear Friends...

June 11th, 2008  The Reporter travels with big boot by RT.  The route was full of folks in wheelchairs, scooters and crutches while our dear Reporter wearing a huge, black recovery boot found herself lifting her boot in the air to get out of the path of moving, exiting wheelchair drivers. She was glad the grey haired man sitting next to her was looking for a laugh. He didn't mind when the Reporter had her boot practically on his lap to avoid the wild wheel chair people who seemed to know that this was the day, and driver who seems to have a record of picking up all the wheel chair people in the area. Regardless, of where they are going. The Reporter was hoping to get some exercise on her right leg and calf. Her right calf looks like a flat tire which is a bit alarming. Water arobics is being suggested by on-lookers so she is strongly considering this exercise as a source of improvement.  The Reporter has been wearing this boot for nearly 4 months now and she is not finding many uses for it. 
June 7th 08 approx. @ 5:00 p.m. Last Friday Night, the Reporter was traveling by Bus down A Busy Avenue, in Sacramento to a celebrate recovery meeting when she discovered she was sitting next to a stand up comedienne who performs in Ca.   The Bus Driver was also a Comedian. The Reporter thought discovered a singer and found out the comedienne sings too!  Her Mother is a Chief Investigator who has been investigating teeth cases, oddly enough. The Reporter did notice the woman had a good set of teeth when she smiled so there was no apparent connection to the teeth investigating cases. the Bus Driver commented, "People don't just ride the bus the way they use to." "It always has to be a Dramatic Event." the Reporter scoped in, or focused in on his comments and realized that she had found a gold mine for some new profound ideas that would become reporting material. so, the Reporter has decided to cover stories unfolding on the RT Buses with some of the most assuming characters that she has ever seen in one place at one time.
The Reporter's sister Mrs. Gregory told the Reporter some time back, "Normal People don't ride buses."  I was considered amoung the Normal population driving a car, paying insurance, buying expensive gas and oil, and I was trying to miss hitting everyone on the road. Lately, it is rumored that Hwy 5 or Hwy 80 is under construction and everyone in town, who works downtown is riding the RT. So, the Normal are meeting the Abnormal as there has been a run on RT Bus Passes selling out in 5 days at the concession counters.  What in the World is going on? Everyone is on the Buses working hard to get somewhere quick.  The Bus driver who watched my present day cast, big black boot swing from here to there thought I should audition in Vegas for a Big Black Boot Performance. He had to embrace my hand as we arrived at my destination, to say, "I really enjoyed your sense of humor" and mentioned once again auditions in Vegas. Not knowing exactly what he had in mind, auditioning in Las Vegas. I gave it some real thought and tried to imagine using my Boot as a way to sell comedy.
